Men Poses as Women Players Online

Recent surveys shows that men usually assumes the identity of women players online and usually uses names such as Zoe, Alexis and Rachel when they are playing online bingo games.

New studies from St. Minver, a gaming site hosting company, shows that men likes to use female names when they play bingo because they are fearful that people will ridicule them for playing such a "girly" past time.

According to recent findings, bingo is generally seen as a game that is suited for the female population, so men who genuinely love playing the game has no choice but to hide their real identity while playing online bingo, even if they do admit that they love and find the experience enjoyable.

Male players also loved to use food related codenames such as Steak, Crispy, Roganjosh, Poppadom, Pepsi and Pringles. They also chose popular film characters as their pseudonyms like Luckyjackson, Bond007 and Damon while playing in online bingo sites.

According to the managing director of St. Minver, the U.K. based company who conducted the research, Leigh Nissim said that they are not really surprised by the findings as men usually chose to assume the identity of a woman while playing bingo online. Men usually believes that bingo is a female past time but they just cannot stop playing bingo because they really enjoyed it.
